By Swati Khandelwal

The filming of Batgirl is finished and the movie is almost completed in its post-production period. But as per the reports, Warners Bros  kept the film on shelves and halts it release.

Batgirl was originally planned to be released in late 2022 on HBO Max. But it's come to a halt. And now the film is not going to be release on HBO Max and theatres.

The film has a budget of $70 million but it has been increased to more than $100 million and this is why Discover decided to cut the cost and put the film on the shelve.

After the merger of Discover with Warner Media in April 2022, the platform has canceled many titles and its impact is also seen on HBO Max.

The cast has not shared any public statements about the reported shelving, but they were eagerly waiting for the movie to be released.

Warner Bros also confirmed that Scoob! Holiday Haunt will be kept in shelf and will not released on HBO Max

A spokesperson said that Leslie Grace is an incredibly talented actor and has done a great work.  And we will look forward to collaborate in future to work on many movies.
